Sam Amadi, Director of Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, says Nigeria is having its worst party organizational politics.

Amadi said this Sunday during a live appearance in an interview on Arise Television.

He was reacting to the first round of voting by different political parties around the country ahead of the general elections next year.

“This is the worst we have seen in party organisational politics in Nigeria. We had crises here and there in 2023 but not on this level.

“We entered the primaries with clarity. PDP was PDP, APC was APC, we didn’t have the confusion we have now.

“The second problem we now have is the transition to direct primaries. Two ways of looking at it. We are making headway. “At least there’s a process,” he said, “no matter how damaged these processes are.”
